Moving also made me realize how many things I had on my San Diego to-see list that I missed out on. How many times can I say "I'll have to do that next year"? Too many times. So many times that I never got to do some of the things I really wanted to during my four-year stint out west. And, yes, I love leaving a city (whether from a long- or short-term "visit") with wanting to do more. It makes me feel like I'll return quicker. But I also don't want to live life thinking I should be doing something else, that I'm missing out on something else. Does that make sense? I want to find that balance between living in the moment and living in the future. So here is my list of things that I'd like to do this spring in Maryland. I made this last week before Easter, but I think they all still apply for what I'd like to accomplish this spring. If it falls into summer, that's OK too. I just want to make sure that I don't keep letting things slide.

Go for a Boat Ride

Clean out My Closet
Read a Book Outside
Go Camping
Write at a Coffee Shop
Go on a Trip By Myself
Take a Day Trip to the Beach
Go on a Wine Tasting Tour
Visit Alexandria, Virginia
Go Kayaking
Volunteer Outside
Bake a Berry Pie
Have Dinner With My Mom in D.C.
Show My Sister Around Baltimore
Go to an O's Game With My Dad
Go to a Farmers' Market
Make Sangria
Pick Wildflowers
