Terribly sorry for the lack of postage the passed few days, but we've been dealing with the fallout of IRENE! This was dinner from the night she arrived in town (in Annapolis, at least). She was windy, but I certainly didn't think that she'd cause the power outages that she did. We were in the black from Saturday night at 1020pm until Monday night around 6pm. Thank god for that generator, but the noise was irritating. Oh well. There are pluses and minuses to everything, right?
So dinner with Irene involved tempeh stir fry, white sticky rice, and slow-cooked pork ribs. Delish! If you've never had tempeh before (this was my first time too!), it's very nutty and has that type of texture. I would have loved this stir fry with some steamed shrimp. Next time for sure!
